You and your church members can have a clean social network with Religious values. Your minister can record his or her church service and broadcast it in case you miss service for the day. Your pastor can also do daily messages if they want to and chat rooms will soon be set up for group prayer.

ChurchBook.US is for the good of all mankind. We are allowing all religions who preach that all humans should be kind to each other and to love one another. We will not allow any faith that preaches evil such as the Church of Satan. We will of course try to help those individuals.

ChurchBook.US’s main reason for existence is the use of religion which is the pillar of the community if ever there was a pandemic such as the Spanish Flu which killed over 50 million people or even a local disaster only effecting one or two cities. If the Swine Flu of 2009 would have been a bad pandemic ChurchBook would have been a valuable tool to hold us all together. Considering Church and faith hold us together at bad times then we need to be able to go to church. However, when Pandemics arise, social distancing takes place and that means churches will be closed to limit the amount of germs and death that is spread in crowed places like churches. If we have a bad pandemic many friends, relatives, family members, moms, dads, kids will die and we need our faith to prevent people from giving up which will allow a newly widowed wife who has just lost her husband and two of her four children to hold on and give good care to the remaining children. For people who have lost many immediate family members, they may have suicidal thoughts, however if they were able to commutate with their minister or others from their church experiencing the same problems then they may be able to hold on.

ChurchBook will do exactly that. Pastors will be the key to holding our hands together where we can be strong and come together to get through this crisis. Ministers will be able to give daily messages of hope and prayer and help serve their sheep of well needed services that will be delayed because of the surge in services and the shortage of man power. Chat rooms will be available for people to handle the grief.

In President Bush's Pandemic Plan, he called for churches to be able to serve their people and the community by making plans pre pandemic. Churches need to be prepared now not at the time of a pandemic. Churches and their members can assist themselves and other members of the inner community geographically. For instance if Ms. Jones, the nice little old lady down the street lives alone members of the church can check on her that live close to her. Maybe five members of the church need to go to the hospital because they are really sick and meet the criteria for hospital admission. Well if the EMS crews are running short of medics because they are sick or some have died it may take hours to get an ambulance so using ChurchBook others from their church will be able to volunteer driving them to the Emergency Room. Maybe their ChurchBook group made a list of people who have already gotten the flu and now are resistant to getting sick again. When they have a list of these people who can't get sick again they can be assigned to babysit the children of sick parents therefore helping to not only care for the sick parents but to care for the other children and helping them stay safe so they don't get sick. ChurchBook will be the church for the complete pandemic phase which can last up to eight months.

Of course at the time of a pandemic ChurchBook will be able to convert to a more user friendly site where all kinds of information can be passed out. Local politicians and Emergency Management divisions can post or offer video messages to all groups of a geographic locations. We also are urging Churches and large residential housing units such as condos to form their own CERT teams.

I leave you with these words that were in President Bush's Pandemic plan: Any community that thinks the Federal Calvary will come to the rescue at the time of a pandemic that community will be set for pure tragedy… If we plan now, pre pandemic there will be no need to panic. We can save lives if we plan now.
